When the individuals capturing and documenting that history post their work, there’s something extra cool about seeing it directly from them.

The NHL released schedules this week. I watched all the teams’ schedule release videos and had a hard enough time narrowing it down to my top 4. Picking one from those felt basically impossible.

I’m going with this one. It’s just so weirdly soothing. If you’ve ever found yourself watching power washing or mowing videos, you’ll get it.

All good sports social videos happen in the streets of Nashville (remember this?).

The whole thing is a gem, but my favorite part: the interviewer unknowingly asking the Chicago Blackhawks GM if the NHL rigged the draft for the Blackhawks to get the #1 pick. Can’t script it any better.
